The Li family moved from Taiwan many years ago to the United States. Being from an Asian culture they were unfamiliar with American traditions and wanted to make sure they raised their children in a safe and family-oriented environment. They decided to settle in Provo, Utah where they raised their three children.  In 2004 they opened China Garden Restaurant on Old State Street in Provo, Utah. Soon they became voted the best Chinese Food in the city.

After years in that location the opportunity to move to Provo City Center Street arose and they took it. Now they are one of the great restaurants that line the Historic Center Street. They were featured in The Daily Herald as a restaurant where one should "COME HUNGRY".

China Garden makes everything from scratch, including the potstickers. Many Provo families have made China Garden their staple for authentic Chinese food. It is not only fresh and hot but very affordable for the entire family. A group of six can eat a great meal including appetizers, soups, egg rolls, entrees and drinks for under $60.00.

If you're looking for great Chinese and very good service on a low budget...make it a date night!
